I’ve been 30 for 3 days now. It’s not so bad.

I’ve been 30 for 3 days now. It’s not so bad. I brought it in on a boat with my best friend and spent the day with my family. 😊

29 kicked my ass. Simple. Couldn’t even think of a graceful way to say it. The growth has been real. I’ve learned so much about myself, my children, and gained a deeper appreciation for life. I realized how strong I am. I learned to speak up and stand up for myself. And I’m sooooo proud of myself. I didn’t fold y’all. I’m still here, still smiling, still loving.

My favorite gifts were Malik’s note, Mahari’s card, and the honeybun cake my mom got me..which Mahari ate when I wasn’t looking. Ahh, motherhood. You’ll never eat again.

I already feel a little more patience when dealing with the kids, more confident in myself, a little sexier, and ready to “get my life together”. Is that even a real thing?? I guess we’ll see!

It’s my last day in my twenties yall! We did the family thing a couple of weeks ago, but I left them kids at home for this one! What better way to bring in 30 than on a high rise balcony downtown, eating chicken and waffles with the sun shining all on me 💁🏽‍♀️

It’s been a joy watching her come out of her shell and grow into her personality. She has so much of it! My rapping, dancing, Kidz Bop singing, cosmetologist, gymnast, fashion designer, artist extraordinaire. And she tells all the moms on the playground about Mama Neeka’s! I love her sooo much. Everyday this little crazy girl inspires me to be a better woman.

Happy Birthday, Hari Girl! Thank you for blessing us all with your sass, your beautiful smile, and giving me tons of hugs and kisses when I need them 💕
